About this challenge
Let’s end the year off with a bang! Use all the new skills you learned in 2023 to create your best effect of the year. Submit your effect by January 3, 2024 for a chance to win up to $5,000!
What we’re looking for
Mini Games: Create a fun, interactive effect using interactive templates such as Bounce Off, Ball Race, or new features such as 3D Physics Spring Joint and Physics Matter.
AR Environments: Create 360° effects that transform creators’ surroundings using features such as 360 Alien Planet template.
Special Characters: Create effects that transform creators into unique characters or add a 2D/3D character to creators’ backgrounds using features such as Face Fusion and the Cartoon generative effect.
End-of-Year Quizzes: Create quiz effects about 2023 moments or 2024 predictions using features such as Scratch and Reveal, Randomizer, and Text.
2023 Album: Create effects that allow creators upload photos to create a 2023 album or create a photo gallery through freeze frames using features such as the Photo Dump template.
Holiday-themed effects are hot right now! Try creating one under any of these categories to potentially draw more attention!

How to enter
- Download and create your effect using Effect House.
- On the Publish Effect form, complete the required fields and select Best of 2023 under Challenge.
- Click Next to review your submission.
- Click Submit and you’re all set!
