First-Time Game Effect Award (1): $2000
Awarded to the best game effect which is a creator’s first-ever game effect
2D Game Effect Award (1): $1000
Awarded to the creator who makes the best 2D game effect
3D Game Effect Award (2): $500
Awarded to the creator who makes the best 3D game effect
Multiplayer Game Effect Award (2): $500
Awarded to the creator who makes the best game effect that can be used by more than one person
Prizes will be paid through the Effect House Rewards Center. Please make sure your payment information is added and up to date.
How to enter
- Download and create your effect using the free Effect House desktop tool.
- On the Publish Effect form, complete the required fields and select Effect House Game Jam under Challenge.
- Click Next to review your submission.
- Click Submit and you’re all set!

Open to legal residents of a region where Effect House and TikTok are available and who are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority, at the time of entry. Enter by submitting an effect as described in the terms between April 17, 2024 at 10:00AM PDT to May 8, 2024 at 23:59PM PDT. 7 winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on specific criteria set out in the terms. Username and profile picture of winners will be displayed. Reward: (1) 1 × USD$5000, (2) 1 × USD$2000, (3) 1 × $1000, (4) 1 × $500, (5) 1 × $500, (6) 1 × $500, (7) 1 × $500. Limit of one Reward per person/Challenge. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
