About this challenge
Attention all athletes and sports enthusiasts! We’re thrilled to invite you to participate in our sports-themed game effect challenge as we celebrate a vibrant season of sports and activities!
Show your creativity by designing a sports-inspired effect for an opportunity to win amazing cash prizes. Don’t miss out on this exciting chance to showcase your talent and passion for sports!
What we’re looking for
Create a fun and interactive game effect that falls under one of the following activities:
Ball sports: Simulate a sport with balls, such as football, basketball, volleyball, or billiards. Throw or receive a ball to win the game!
Marksman games: Challenge users’ precision with a fun archery-inspired game where they aim for the bullseye or any target!
Track and field sports: Interactive effects that require users to race and avoid obstacles to win the game!
Tips
Here are some tips to create a successful game effect:
- Game duration: Design your game to be completed in about 15 seconds if played correctly. For more complex games, include a prompt or hint encouraging users to select the 60-second video option on TikTok.
- Effect icon: Ensure your effect icon is clear, simple, and accurately represents your game
- Difficulty level: Make your game easy to play but with a medium difficulty level to win
- Prompts and hints: Use Text objects to inform players of the winning conditions at the beginning and display their progress or score throughout the game
- Winning screen: Include a winning screen with celebratory elements like ribbons and cheering sounds when the user wins

How to enter
- Download and create your effect using Effect House.
- On the Publish Effect form, complete the required fields and select Sports Game Effect Challenge under Challenge.
- Click Next to review your submission.
- Click Submit and you’re all set!

Open to legal residents of a region where Effect House and TikTok are available and who are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority, at the time of entry. Enter by submitting an effect as described in the terms between July 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM PST to August 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM PST. Thirty-seven (17) winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on specific criteria set out in the terms. Username and profile picture of winner[s] will be displayed. Reward:
