About this challenge
Feeling lucky? It’s time to let creativity roll in the Randomizer Effect Challenge! This three-month-long challenge invites you to create fun, interactive effects that surprise and delight—every single time.
Whether you’re into spinning wheels, card shuffles, random picks, or prediction-based games, this challenge is your chance to experiment with randomness, probability, and unexpected outcomes. We’re calling all creators and VFX artists to show off their most clever and visually exciting randomizer effects using Effect House.
Throughout the challenge, we will introduce sub-challenges, giving participants even more chances to win prizes and gain recognition for their innovative work.
What are sub-challenges?
Sub-challenges are mini challenges designed around the latest trends and viral effects, offering extra opportunities to show off your skills and win prizes. Each sub-challenge will focus on different themes of game effects, encouraging you to experiment with new mechanics, interactions, and visuals.
Ranking Sub-Challenge
What we’re looking for
Create a ranking-style randomizer that surprises users with an unpredictable list or order—top favorites or ideal travel spots. Think tier lists, countdowns, or anything that ranks!
Prediction Sub-Challenge
What we’re looking for
What does the future hold? Create a prediction effect that reveals a random outcome—be it fortunes, gifts, challenges, or surprises.
Make a Choice Sub-Challenge
What we’re looking for
Help users make spontaneous decisions with a randomizer that chooses for them! Perfect for yes/no questions, what-to-eat dilemmas, or even who goes first in a game.

Prizes
Each sub-challenge will have 3 winners and a $1,000 cash prize.
Cash prizes will be distributed within the following month of the sub-challenge deadline date.

- Download and create your effect using Effect House
- On the Publish Effect form, complete the required fields and select the sub-challenge you want to enter under Challenge
- Click Next to review your submission
- Click Submit and you’re all set!
