About this challenge
We are thrilled to introduce the AI Effect Challenge – a three-month-long challenge for creators and VFX artists to showcase their creativity and technical skills in AI-powered effects. This challenge is an opportunity to experiment with AI Editor in Effect House to design AI-driven interactions, push the boundaries of generative effects, and craft unique, intelligent experiences. Learn how to use AI Editor to create your effects.
In addition to the main challenge, we will introduce sub-challenges throughout its duration, giving you even more chances to win prizes and gain recognition.
What are sub-challenges?
Sub-challenges are mini challenges designed around the latest trends and viral effects, offering extra opportunities to show off your skills and win prizes. Each sub-challenge will focus on different themes of game effects, encouraging you to experiment with new mechanics, interactions, and visuals.

Turn an uploaded image into a AI-generated landscape. Think futuristic cityscapes, enchanted forests, and cosmic worlds!

Prizes
Each sub-challenge will have 3 winners and a $1,000 cash prize. You must use AI Editor to create your effect to qualify.
Cash prizes will be distributed within the following month of the sub-challenge deadline date.

- Download and create your effect using Effect House
- On the Publish Effect form, complete the required fields and select the sub-challenge you want to enter under Challenge
- Click Next to review your submission
- Click Submit and you’re all set!
