What are Effect House Badges?
Effect House Badges help creators learn about, track, and celebrate meaningful milestones in the effect creation process. Badges are awarded based on activities you complete on Effect House, like reading one of our effect creation guides or growing your audience on TikTok.
How do badges work?
Badges are awarded across 3 milestone categories: Learning, Creation, and Growth.
- Learning is the first step to success — and with plenty of articles and hours of tutorials on the Effect House website, you can become an Effect House expert in no time!
- Step into Creation by publishing effects to TikTok and posting videos with the effects you’ve made.
- Once you’ve published your first effect, Growth marks your reach as you become an accomplished effect creator.
Bonus Badges are special badges that offer extra rewards for certain achievements. Also read: What are Bonus Badges?
How do I start earning badges?
To start earning Effect House badges:
- Download the free Effect House app on your desktop or laptop.
- Log in to Effect House with your TikTok account.
- Create and publish your first effect.
- Start tracking your badges on the Effect House Badges page.
What are Bonus Badges?
The Effect House Bonus Badges are special badges that offer extra rewards for certain achievements. Bonus Badges are given based on the number of effects published and the number of times the effects are used by other creators in their videos. These badges come with exclusive privileges, such as unique TikTok profile frames, Top Creator title, and the opportunity to join Effect House’s top effect creators community.
Can I get both the regular badges and Bonus Badges at the same time?
Yes, it is possible to get both at the same time.
Who is eligible to earn Bonus Badges?
Both new and existing Effect House creators are eligible to earn Bonus Badges. For now, only effects created in the Effect House desktop tool qualify for Badges.
How do I earn a Bonus Badge?
To earn each Bonus Badge, Effect House creators will need to reach specific achievement milestones:

What is a TikTok profile frame?
The TikTok profile frame is a unique frame that will be shown around your TikTok profile photo or avatar. The Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Badges can unlock a TikTok profile frame that's active for a certain period of time from when it was claimed:
- Silver profile frame: active for 3 months
- Gold profile frame: active for 6 months
- Platinum profile frame: active for 12 months
- Diamond profile frame: active for 24 months
You must update your TikTok app to the most recent version to view and activate the profile frames.
How do I activate the profile frame?
Once you’re eligible to get the profile frame, you’ll receive a notification on TikTok. To activate the frame:
- Go to Effect House’s Badge page.
- Click the Claim bonus button.
- On the next page, click the Add frame button.
- Open the TikTok app to view your new frame.
Can I get multiple profile frames at the same time?
Yes, you can collect the Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond profile frames at the same time. To view or change your profile frame, go to your Profile. Tap your profile photo and tap Change frame. You'll see all your available frames and have the option to choose which one you want to use.
Who gets the Effect House Top Creator title?
The Platinum Bonus Badge unlocks the opportunity to earn the official Effect House Top Creator title for 6 months. This title showcases your effect creation ability and status as one of Effect House’s top-performing creators. Once approved, you’ll see this title will appear at the bottom of your username on your Profile.
How do I activate the Effect House Top Creator title?
To activate the Top Creator title:
- Once you’ve unlocked the Platinum Bonus Badge, go to the Effect House’s Badges page.
- On the Platinum Badge, click the Add to TikTok button.
- If your account is in good standing, your new title should automatically appear on your TikTok profile.
Why am I unable to access the Platinum Badge cash bonus?
If you have unlocked the Platinum Badge but are unable to access the $60 cash bonus, make sure your account meets both of these requirements:
- You unlocked the Platinum Badge after December 15, 2023
- Your account adheres to the security and ethical usage guidelines in our terms and conditions, which can be found on the Badges page
If your account meets these requirements and you believe there may be an issue with obtaining your rewards payments, please submit a transaction issue report.
What is the Diamond Creator Program?
The Diamond Creator Program is designed to celebrate, support, and uplift Effect House's top creators. This program offers exclusive benefits, which may include opportunities like:
- Early access to new Effect House features
- Exclusive Community Forum badges
- Invitations to virtual and in-person events
- Technical support from the Effect House team
- Direct support from our regional managers
- Special brand and marketing opportunities
How do I join the Diamond Creator Program?
The Diamond Bonus Badge unlocks the opportunity to join the Diamond Program. To apply:
- Once you've unlocked the Diamond Bonus Badge, go to Effect House's Badges page.
- Click the Join Now button.
- Enter your contact information including your TikTok username, Discord display name, and Effect House Community Forum username. If you don't have a Discord or Community Forum account, follow the prompts to create them during the sign-up process.
- After submitting your information, our team will guide you through the rest of the application process on the Effect House Discord server and Community Forum.
*Your account must be in good standing to join the Diamond Creator Program. If you have previously applied to the Effect House Ambassadors Program, you'll need to submit a new application for the Diamond Creator Program.
