Asset Studio

Leverage the beta version of Asset Studio to import high quality 2D assets. Asset Studio eliminates the need for artistic skills and expertise by generating custom 2D face mask and sticker assets based on your request!

2D asset generation is in early beta and outputs are meant for ideation purposes. Please ensure any usage follows Community Guidelines and Inclusivity Guidelines.

Access Asset Studio

Open Asset Studio by clicking the Add button [+] and then Create in Asset Studio in the Assets panel. Alternatively, if your Assets panel is empty, you can simply click the Asset Studio button.

Generate a 2D Sticker Asset

Enter a Prompt

In Asset Studio, click 2D Sticker and enter a prompt that describes your desired output. For example, "a cheeseburger".

Set Generation Properties

You can configure several properties for your generated sticker asset.

Start by clicking the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.

Define the following settings of the generator:

  • Style: The default option is Pixel Art.
  • Transparent: Generate 2D stickers with a transparent background.
  • Generation Steps: How many iterations the generation process goes through.
  • Prompt Strength: Determines how closely the output matches your text prompt.

Generate and Preview the Assets

Once you’ve entered your prompt and defined the generation settings, click Generate. A batch of 4 sticker designs are generated.

The generator times out after 10 seconds. If it is unable to generate models within 10 seconds, you may receive an error message. In this case, check your internet connection.

Don’t see what you like? You can continue to generate new designs by customizing the settings and clicking Generate.

Import the Assets to Your Project

Once you’re satisfied with the generated assets, you can import them directly into your Assets panel by selecting the individual designs and clicking Import. You can also import all 4 sticker designs by clicking Import all.

The imported stickers appear in the Assets panel as textures.

You can now assign an imported sticker as a texture. For example, you can change the texture of an Image component to one of the imported sticker textures.

Generate a Face Mask Asset

Enter a Prompt

In Asset Studio, click Face Mask and enter a prompt that describes your desired output. For example, "a tiger".

Set Generation Properties

You can configure several properties for your generated face mask assets.

Start by clicking the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.

Define the following settings of the generator:

  • Face: The selected reference face determines the base skin tone used by the model and also serves as the preview face to display the resulting mask output.
  • Match Face Tone: Match the skin tone of the reference face when generating face textures.
  • Generation Steps: How many iterations the generation process goes through.
  • Prompt Strength: Determines how closely the output matches your text prompt.

Generate and Preview the Assets

Once you’ve entered your prompt and defined the generation settings, click Generate. A batch of 4 face mask designs are generated on your selected reference face.

Import the Assets to Your Project

Once you’re satisfied with the generated assets, you can import them directly into your Assets panel by selecting the individual designs and clicking Import. You can also import all 4 face mask designs by clicking Import all.

When imported, the face mask outputs are converted into prefab assets containing a Face Mask object with the face texture applied.

This allows you to conveniently drag and drop the assets directly into the Hierarchy panel.
