Who can join Effect Creator Rewards?

Effect Creator Rewards is open to Effect House creators who meet the following criteria:

How are rewards calculated?

Creators collect rewards based on total qualified video publishes, or unique videos from eligible regions that used their effect within the first 90 days. When an effect reaches 200,000 qualified video publishes, a creator will start collecting rewards. They will continue to collect rewards for every additional qualified video publish until the end of the 90-day period, or until they reach the maximum reward. Reward amount may vary based on several factors, including the region where the videos were published.

What is a qualified effect?

An effect is considered a qualified effect once it reaches 200,000 qualified video publishes within its first 90 days, or when it starts collecting rewards.

What is a qualified video publish?

Qualified video publishes are TikTok videos (videos posted on TikTok that use the effect you submitted through Effect House) from eligible regions within its first 90 days. Only unique qualified video publishes count towards the rewards. For example, if a user publishes 2 different videos using the same effect on the same day, this counts as 1 qualified video publish.

What is RPM?

RPM means Revenue Per Mille or reward amount per 1,000 qualified video publishes. This amount may vary based on several factors, including the region where the video was published.

Is there a maximum reward per creator?

The maximum payment a single effect can collect is USD$14,000. The maximum payment a single creator can collect per month is USD$50,000.

How do creators get the reward?

Creators will be asked to set up their preferred payment method and tax information during the application process. Once the application is approved, all published effects and rewards collected will be shown on the dashboard.

Rewards over USD$10 will be paid out on the 15th of the following month and transferred to your preferred payment method. Rewards lower than USD$10 will continue to accrue until it reaches USD$10 or after 6 months, whichever comes first.

The payment method can be changed at any time in Payment settings, which can be accessed through the dashboard.

Why isn't Effect Creator Rewards available in my country?

We're always looking to explore and evolve our features to bring more value to our global community. Effect Creator Rewards is still in its early stages, and we hope to make it available to more creators in the coming months, so keep an eye out for our newsletters.

If I move to a country where Effect Creator Rewards is available, will I be able to enroll in the program?

No. We will base your eligibility based on your location when you created your TikTok account.

Can I still collect rewards from effects I've published in the past?

No. Only effects published after you've been admitted to the program are eligible to collect rewards.

Can I collect rewards from mobile effects or effects I created within the TikTok app?

No. Only Community Effects created using the Effect House desktop tool are eligible to collect rewards.

If I update a published effect after I enroll in the program, can that effect collect rewards?

No. Only effects published after you've been admitted to the program are eligible to collect rewards.

What if my effect is removed or deactivated? How will that impact my rewards?

If your effect is removed or deactivated, it won't be able to gain new video publishes, which means it will stop collecting rewards. However, all video publishes gained prior to your effect's removal or deactivation will still be counted towards your next payout.

Will I ever lose my eligibility for participating in this program?

The Effect House team reserves the right to approve or disapprove applications or revoke admission to the program based on our policies and the Effect Creator Rewards Terms. At the same time, you may voluntarily opt out of the program at any time.

See Terms based on your country: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Spain, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.

Why is the reward amount on my dashboard different from what I received?

There may be times when your dashboard does not reflect your most updated payout amount. Please refer to the Monthly earnings statement, which can be accessed through the TikTok app, to get the most updated information.

To view your Monthly earnings statement, go to your Profile, tap Menu, then tap Settings and privacy, and then select Balance.
