The New Year is a time for celebration, fresh starts, and spreading joy! To welcome 2025, we’re inviting you to design game effects that capture the excitement of the season. Whether it’s an interactive adventure, an immersive AR experience, or a fun randomizer game, show us your creativity.
Submit your effect by February 8, 2025, for a chance to win up to $2,000. Your effect could even become the next TikTok sensation!
Create a New Year’s game effect based on one of these themes:
Interactive Game: Leverage 3D and 2D physics components (like Rigid Body and Box Collider), VFX particles, and more to design engaging, interactive games
AR Game: Combine AR features like AR Plane, AR Brush, or other AR tracking with the Sensor Data node to craft immersive experiences
Randomizer Game: Make 2025 New Year predictions with exciting randomizer game effects

In the month following the Winner Announcement, all monetary prizes will be disbursed through the Effect House Rewards Center. Please ensure your payment info is added and up to date!

Open to legal residents of a region where Effect House and TikTok are available and who are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority, at the time of entry. Enter by submitting an effect as described in the terms between January 8 2025 at 10:00 AM PST to February 8 2025 at 10:00 AM PST. Seven (7) winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on specific criteria set out in the terms. Username and profile picture of winner[s] will be displayed. Reward:
