Add a Face Liquify Object

Add a Face Mask object by clicking the Add button [+] > Face Effects > Face Liquify in the Hierarchy panel.

Adding a Face Liquify object automatically nests Liquify under an object with a Face Binding component.

Object Hierarchy

Starting in Effect House v2.0.0, the Face Liquify object is automatically added to the Face Shape Effects render group in the Hierarchy panel. Learn more about render groups.

Configure a Face Binding Component

In the Hierarchy panel, click the object with the Face Binding component. You can see the Face Binding component in the Inspector panel.

The Face Binding component allows the Face Liquify effect to be applied to the face being tracked. By default, the Liquify object is parented under an object with a Face Binding component.

You can move and unparent, or unnest, the Liquify object in the Hierarchy panel to keep the effect in a fixed position that is relative to the screen.

Use the Which Face dropdown to select the face you want to attach the effect to. The face number assignment is based on the order of detection. The first face detected in the scene will be assigned to 0, the second face detected will be assigned to 1, and so on.

Tracking Target is set to Human by default.

Configure a Liquify Component

Add Liquify to an object by clicking + Add component > Utility > Liquify in the Inspector panel.

Click the Liquify object in the Hierarchy panel. You can see the Liquify component in the Inspector panel.

Edit Liquify in the Scene

You can edit multiple Liquify objects at once in the Scene panel

The center of a Liquify object can be aligned to a blue square on the model face. The blue squares represent the key facial points, like the center of the right eye.

You can also resize a Liquify object.
