About Trends Mission

Calling all effect creators! Create and submit an effect inspired by viral TikTok trends for a chance to win! Your mission is to turn these trends into high-quality and engaging effects on TikTok. For each mission, we’ll send you prompts and example videos of featured TikTok trends.

This is an ongoing competition so watch out for new mission prompts as each one will highlight a unique trend. Be on the lookout in your TikTok inbox for more details such as specific prompts and submission deadlines!

Prizes

Effects that get the most video views will get these rewards:

• Top 20% of effects: Get a voucher or gift card (rewards differ by region)

• Top 50% of effects: Get featured in the Trending effects tray in selected regions

How will the winning effects be selected?

Step 1: The judge panel will filter entries that do not follow the mission prompt.

Conformity-The Conformity metric is measured in terms of the relevance of the effects you submit and the inspirational videos on the mission prompt.

Step 2: The top 50% most popular effects (out of all the remaining eligible entries, ranked by total video views) will be the winning effects for each phase.

Popularity-The Popularity metric is measured in terms of the total views of videos using the effect during each mission phase.

How to enter

1. Download and create your effect using Effect House.
2. On the Submit form, select Fresh Picks for Spring Mission under Challenge.
3. Click Submit and you’re all set!
